How does the game fit the theme?
In this chaotic restaurant which is run by two dummy master chefs, ANYTHING can go wrong, but thank goodness you're here
don't let that happen

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We used free assets for music and sound effects

How many people worked on the game?

A really fun concept, but way too difficult for me. I think I figured out what most of the symbols mean, but then the cooks change what they're doing in the middle of doing something ... 🤔 I'll try some more, but I doubt I'll even manage to make a single burger 😅

Developer

don’t worry it was meant to be hard, my top score is one successful burger XD, but you are right the difficulty is something we should balanced more, thanks for playing

Super interesting concept and unique approach to theme!
I had a really hard time getting the lights on again, is there a trick?
Also it took pretty for me figuring out how to make the assemble the burger :P
Vey cool concept and the slap sound/Screenshake is super juicy!

Developer(+1)

no there is no trick, we made it less likely that lights happen and in doing so we probably made it harder to turn it back on :\ , we will fix this after the jam, thanks for the comment

The idea was really silly and fun, but the execution could use some work. It's nostalgic in the sense that it feels like a flash game I would have played and loved as a kid. In terms of gameplay, it's a bit of a drag, but it's also very charming in its own way. One highlight was me finding out they can turn off the lights while I was trying to get one of them to get a sausage.

glad you liked the game. yeah, those guys loved turning off the lights on us too, specially during play tests XD

The food that is dragged from the storage is random and that element is frustrating

Developer(+1)

thanks for the comment, we did change the randomness a little after you mentioned it but this is definitely something we should improve after the jam
