I really like the idea of using parasites to control the insects. That's a cool bit of pseudo-realistic detail. I had trouble figuring out the actual gameplay. I think I was supposed to get the beetles to walk into the spider at the end and that filled up the green bar but I wasn't sure what that was for. Something was making me loose health and I think it might be because I wasn't getting the beetles to the spider fast enough but that wasn't clear.

I found it a bit hard to grasp the gameplay. After a while I figured it out, but I somehow ended up in between the two phases. This messed with the game logic and I was not able to advance.

Even though you said you used placeholder assets here and there, I still think the game looks pretty nice :) Well done in putting together a game in the span of only one week though.

Thanks! To be honest, there are still a lot of bugs there. Didn't calculate the scale this time :(

The game concept is really interesting (though "They are crazy!" sums up how it fits the theme lol)! Nevertheless a nice blend of strategy with random chance, well done.

Thanks! Not my best work, but we are all always learning :) However, Godot destroyed me this time. I had to debug all sorts of non-game logic so much that I simply didn’t have time left for the rest.

Love your attitude tbh. Can it be better? obv... You got the game out, that's what matters.. learning and having fun is what jams are all about haha! This like our 10th jam, and we still learnt some entirely new tools and techniques! :D

Exactly! The main thing is to move on with every step and not to lose heart :) I wish good luck to your team and you personally.
