by the theme "nothing can go wrong..." are the dots implying that my game should feel like nothings gonna go wrong but something will?

you can go any direction with it that you want. Could have everything go wrong, could have nothing go wrong but make it feel like it will, could do something else entirely. As long as it links back to the theme its a-okay

the point of a game jam is to create a game you feel fits the theme. the more wacky the idea the better

Thanks, I did not notice the " ... " . To me it means you can fill it with something else to complete the sentence. For example if you can put words like "else", "but", "unless", "everything" and you get things like:  "nothing can go wrong else you go right." "nothing can go wrong but nothing can go right". "nothing can go wrong unless you go right." "nothing can go wrong everything else go right."
