I enjoyed the game alot. The player is a very cute groundmole. Also the movement is pretty solid. I think you are using some kind of Lerp which makes everything even better. Hats off.
Thank you so much for the kind words! :D I actually used a similar system as described in Daniel Shiffman's "The Nature of Code" where he talks about vehicles moving and arriving at the mouse's position. Anyways I'm glad you liked it! :D
Very simple game, but seriously, it's a ton of fun. Jumping up and down holes is great, the farmer animations are awesome, and going for vegetables at the perfect time to not get caught, just barely escaping before their pitchfork comes down - awesome. The graphics are great, extremely cute and fit the concept very well, and it was overall a great experience!

The concept is simple but terribly effective. The graphics work really well with the game.
It would have deserved a little more feedback in my opinion (visual or sound).
And maybe a life bar to be less punitive (at the beginning I died several times without understanding how to eat a vegetable).
The controls were sometimes a bit slow, but maybe it's from the webGL.
Anyway, it's a game that fits the theme very well; Good Job !!

Love the name, definitely some fun design here, theme is spot on and I love some story to go with the game. Only things I found is I can't back out of the How-To menu or restart after a game-over. Great game!

Oh no, really? So you just can't return to the menu? It works fine for me... Perhaps you are in fullscreen mode? That always seems to have some glitches for me on itch, I don't know why, but if you were in fullscreen then try normal size window and let me know if that fixes it.
