Awesome game and very solid one, the only thing missing is bullets projectiles and an indication weather you are inflicting g=damage or not since is difficult to know if the enemy is dying but overall nice game!!! :D

(Please rate mine :D)

Really solid game. Just missing some things like player health, bullet projectile, and more accurate embark system.

Looks really fun, but I get stuck on the "Embark" part.

Nice graphic !

however when I leave the hole and press the embark, nothing happens

Like the other metioned you had a very cool main menu and overall good graphics, but your game needs to be more polished. In the mainmenu you could improve the interactivity and in the game you could add things like bullets or powerups to make the game more interesting. But to be honest I had the same problem in my first game jam. :)

Feel free to check out my game aswell.

Cool graphics, especially the menu screen. Gameplay was nice, I was a bit confused with the Map view, because the player did not go to the place I have selected, but nice to play!

Awesome, thanks for checking it out! And yeah, the game sort of breaks down at that point, so there's unfortunately nothing beyond that. A week to jam seems like a long time when you're just starting out lol

First of All... I was blown away by the Menu Art.. It was awesome. The graphics were quite nice.Took me a while to discover how to change weapon and how the over world worked. I discovered a bug in the over world when you pressed the EMBARK  button before selecting an area on the map. That resulted in the game being stuck. The game isn't complete but, It's the effort that mattersI!.  Goodluck on your future games and I hope you improve on this one too.

Cheers!

Thank you so much, I was so disappointed in my entry for the jam so your kind words mean a lot to me. I didn't even realize I forgot to mention any of the controls, it was all really rushed at the end for sure. The map screen was pretty much the very last thing I added so I'm aware of how broken it is, and it's the first thing to be fixed as I continue to try and make this into the game I wanted it to be. Thanks for checking my game out!

I know how hard it is to get a game done in such a short time.. But it's fun :)

This looks like a really cool game, but... I go through the hole, people shoot at me, I run away to a ladder and then it shows a map, and I don't know what to do afterwards. How do I continue playing? Also why did I go through a hole and why are those mean men shooting at me? XD

I'm sorry to say that that's all there is to the game in its current state, I had many more plans to put these things into context and make it all a bit more challenging and immersive. Thanks for checking out my game!

Hey it’s ntwiles from the discord! Love the art and the gameplay so far. I cleared the first room and got to an overworld map, but couldn’t move past there. Is there more to it or is that the end?

DeveloperSubmitted

Haha, that's awesome, I'm glad you like what little I had to show. I'm afraid that's all I managed to scrape together, though I do plan to add a variety of rooms and areas to explore- maybe even some storyline down the road. Thanks for checking it out!
