In what way does your game fit the theme?
The towers slowly unwind and it is up to you to rewind them to keep them wound.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I used free sound effects and the Unity engine. Everything else is made by me, yes.

Great and fun game! Kept me playing longer than most other games:)

Developer

That's great! Thank you for the comment :)

Really fun game! The only thing that threw me off was I was expecting the upgraded towers to be something you placed over a basic tower instead of a separate tower, and I got used to that pretty quickly.

Developer

And I should've made it that way :) glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback!

Fun game, but maybe instead of a limited time, perhaps a limited ammo amount. Overall fun game, another suggestion would be to speed up the build up to make it less tedious

Developer

I like the idea with the ammo! I should experiment with that. Thanks for the feedback!

Very creative interpretation of the theme! One way you might spice things up is by making enemies hurt the player on contact, making traversing to towers to wind them up more difficult. In generally winding up the towers got somewhat monotonous. Maybe instead of dropping so quickly you could overwind the towers if you constantly crank them to temporarily increase fire rate. Also, a next wave button would be a great quality of life improvment. Great concept and execution. Plus I love that wind up sound!

Developer

Thank you! I think it would get too hectic if the enemies could hurt you, but maybe it's a good fit for a hardmode. I agree that winding the towers get tedious in the long run. Thanks for the feedback!

i actually enjoyed playing the game. im impressed by how much weapons enemies and types of stuff there is .the gameplay was so good , few things the towers die so quickly i couldn't keep track with 3 towers only . and the design could be a lot better and maybe the player could have like a builder thing something like a builder character or a "Crawler Excavators" and maybe a background audio.  could be turned into something great with more time .

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback!

I didn't expect a tower defense game to come out of this theme, good job! Perhaps I would've liked you to twist the genre a little more on the creative side, but considering my own entry is far from being a game design gem, I'd be hard-pressed to blame you haha

Developer(+1)

No no, your criticism is welcome :) the game has a lot of room for towers, enemies and mechanics, but I ran out of time. It came to feel a bit more like a prototype or a proof-of-concept. Hope you still liked it, and I appreciate your feedback! cheers.

I feel you, my own entry really suffered from not having the time to polish the platforming and clarity of gameplay haha

Have a good day!
