I dont quite get the super jump mechanic but I like the idea of going backwards through not only the level but the game! Great job!

This is very unique in terms of gameplay. Not to mention the great polish you included. I love the meteor impacts, and how the world comes back togeather after cracking apart. I wish the player had more control over the actual gameplay, since you can only really place 4 or so towers. Also the upgrades for towers are kinda lackluster, with only incremental bonuses to damage rather than changes in implementation. Overall though, great game!
Very creative interpretation of the theme! One way you might spice things up is by making enemies hurt the player on contact, making traversing to towers to wind them up more difficult. In generally winding up the towers got somewhat monotonous. Maybe instead of dropping so quickly you could overwind the towers if you constantly crank them to temporarily increase fire rate. Also, a next wave button would be a great quality of life improvment. Great concept and execution. Plus I love that wind up sound!
My first thought was, jeez this soundtrack has no right being this good! Haha! I really like the idea of controlling the level around the player by angling the winds! If you want to make it slightly more controllable you could make it so that only the winds within a range of the player are controlled, but thats totally a design decision. Oh and on the 2nd level I got stuck where the wind blows you straight up a corridor. I think if you put some spikes on the ledge it would fix that problem. Great soundtrack, great game!
This is a really great looking game! I love the reflex based doding as well. The rewind mechanic seems a little hard to recover from. For one, it happens so fast you hardly have time to react and secondly its hard to tell where you'll be warped back to. I think it could be improved with some arrows showing your reverse path and a slighlty slower rewind. I love the pacman power up, it always left me looking for me! Great astetic and sound!
This is such a creative idea! I would have never thought to use the board of a match 3 as an enviorment for characters to move around in! There is a weird combination of sorta floaty movement and weird time updates that make it a little hard to control. I would like to see this as either a turnbased game or one where the movement is slightly diffrent. All around great concept and excution though. The art and music are both good too!
I really like the look of the game, and your use of unlit shaders. The UI could have used some polish, but thats understandable given the time frame. I would have liked to see this concept expanded more, such as more uses for the food and water. Also I think it sometimes puts you in unwinable situations, just a string of days without food or water available. Anyway, great looking game, wish there was more!
Haha, yea I am surprised I was able to get a working game out at all. Thank you so much for playing my weird game ! The premise of the game is to collect suns by striking through them with your mouse/brush. Then when you fill the green bar a cloud appears which you have to connect to the water to make it rain on the plant. I would include instructions in the Jam post, but I can only figure out how to write them in the description of the main page.
I like the ambience and music of this game alot. I wasn't able to get very far, becuase I am bad. But I enjoyed dodging and weaving through the first level and a half. There are a couple things I noticed. Its weird that some objects will act as an obstacle and stop you from moving over them and other won't. Also enemies can sometimes go behind an obstacle which makes them basically invisible. Another thing is that the sword arc seems very restricitive, its almost impossible to hit an enemy above or below you. Other than that I love the assets and music, great job!
I really love the graphic design of this game! The pixel art is gorgeous and I can't imagine how much time it must have taken to create 2 whole tile sets O.o
The main mechanic is very intuitive, the only thing that feels a little odd is that you cant use your rewind ability in the air or while jumping. Thats probably intetionally but it just feels really weird to be forced to stop whenever you use your watch.
I really love the fact that you can see how the enemy is going to act in the upcoming level , and you can place towers accordingly. I think you could have done more with the conept given more time though. You could have unforseen events that dont show up until you place towers. Overall its a fun game though! Id be interested to know how oyu made the islands though, just with unity terrain tool?
