In what way does your game fit the theme?
In the game, the player fights various enemies to get their DNA to regress through humanity's evolutionary path. The player literally rewinds evolution.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes - all sounds, music, code, and art was made by me.

Hey I made a video playing your game.  Yours starts at 39:57. I am not a professional, so the quality is pretty low. And I am not great at games so I couldn't get very far, but I hope it was helpful anyway.

The take on the theme was interesting, but the "story" left me a bit confused: why are there monkeys, lizards and amoebas in the labs? The game in general was fun, but I didn't manage to get past the amoebas, mainly because the projectiles they shoot hit you a bit too easily. Also, adding some checkpoint after each boss would really be nice

Hi, i've played and rated your game.  Its pretty fun to play. But i think, that the camera is a bit to close to the player. It would give the player a better overview over the level. Also the lizards are kinda tricky to beat. But nevertheless, well done!

Thank you! I agree that I should've moved the camera a bit back for all of the levels. Thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed the graphics. The camera should be a bit more away from the player. Cool story too.

Great job for first few weeks using unity. Keep at it!

Thanks! I think that too, I moved it a bit farther for the boss fights, but in general too it needs it.
