A neat simple game that was fun to play. I like the straight forward gameplay and intuitive game mechanics. The gameplay loop is also quite addictive
Nevertheless, I do some criticism:
1. I wish there was some kind of in game cursor that can help me see where I'm exactly pointing at. I often find myself aiming outside the screen without realizing it
2. Adding some music would've also made the game even more exciting to play
3. Item drops are too small to see. I often can't tell the difference between ammo drops and health drops
All in all, I had fun playing this game. Keep up the good work
Thanks so much for playing our game! To answer some of your criticisms: we wanted to add a cursor but for some reason it would slowly become off center of the player so we chose to hide it. We also wish we had time for music but, sound design is not our teams strong suit so we chose to work on other aspects of the game. Finally, there isnt actually any health packs in the game due to some complications with the code, the only way to heal is by finding the doctor. Loved your game. It's simple ,yet addictive and fun. I liked how you balanced the waves and character powers. I noticed that at some points my pistol could kill in one shot, but others it didn't. If it's intentional it's really cool, if it's a bug, rewrite it to make it intentional, it adds fear and randomness to the whole experience. My suggestion would be to make the rifle automatic. I think it would burn through the ammo faster, making it more scarce. Great game guys, congrats.
Thanks for playing! Your point about how the pistol sometimes one shot and sometimes did not was intentional. Throughout the game, the zombies will slowly gain health so, depending on which wave the zombies are from they will take more or less shots to kill. One of the NPCs (the solider) also increase your damage percentage by a bit which will make killing zombies easier and faster as well.
