Really cool game! Great concept and gameplay! You put a lot of hard work into programming, and I think that's awesome. That opening cutscene is pretty epic ;)

very nice.  the looks is great, the story is fantastic, and I loved the sound.  the difficultly is a bit much, and based on how far I've played the jam's theme isn't all that present.  but overall very well done.  nice job.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The theme gets revealed through story progression in the final level.

Good concept! I like the ambience and the art :) I am really bad at platforming so I couldnt even get past the first one haha but it looks nice!! like the cave bg alot

Really great idea. Cool beginning cinematic and story. I liked that each character had their own mechanic.

The levels seem a little long without checkpoints, and the platforming was a little unforgiving.

I liked the intro cinematic, and thought it was a clever way to introduce the two characters, their abilities, and the enemies!

I really liked the second brownish-character's abilities, of creating platforms. There's so much to do with that I think just by itself, and had a smile on my face when it clicked in my mind to scale walls using the spawnable platforms.

Like another commenter said, the game can become a bit challenging sooner that expected -- I appreciated the helpful checkpoints set up that alleviated that, but would have appreciated having more checkpoints (to avoid re-doing the same part again).

I also liked the music and loved the mouth-made sound effects haha

Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for the feedback! I personally love hard games and, as a result, sometimes overdo it a little with the difficulty in my own games. I'll certainly make sure to add extra checkpoints in the future.

I will say though the challenge of the game really got me immersed and into the game -- totally not a bad thing (I' m also not great at platformers haha), and I can tell the game was made with lots of care which is really what matters. :)

I really like your game and its mechanics! First I had to get used to the fact that I am able to create my own platforms as the red little one and maybe I have spend way too much time on that first high wall but it felt super rewarding after I've finally managed to climb it :) For me it was a nice balance between a good challenge and that "how am I supposed to get there?!" feeling xD

The background music is very soft and calming and a perfect fit for your game. And I really liked that cute "whoop" sound while jumping :)

Thanks for sharing your game, you did a great job!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the challenge and the music!

Cool Intro, nice sound effects.

The controls feel a little sluggish and the leveldesign is a bit punishing for my taste.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. What particularly didn't you like about the controls and how would you change them?
