In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player collects comfort toys to overcome their fears making them stronger than if they were alone in the dark.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes! I wrote all the music, programmed the game, and did all the art by myself!

I like the concept of this game! However, I didn't really understand what I should do, so I kept dying in the first level. Maybe you could add a tutorial to your page? I really liked the atmosphere though!
I've been getting that a lot. Thank you very much for the feedback! I really appreciate it!
Great concept, I really like the idea! The graphics are nice and the musics fits perfectly, overall you've absolutely captured that unease feeling of the darkness what created a great atmosphere :) A little tutorial would have helped me though, it took me a while to understand that I should keep some distance to the candle holders until they are lit. But beside that I really enjoyed playing your game, you did a great job! :)
Thank you very much for the feedback! The biggest takeaway for me here was that the game was unintuitive. A lot of people have said that. I think it's easy to forget that when the game is your idea and you've spend hours and hours programming and testing it, things that seem obvious to you might not be apparent to others. Thanks again for the feedback!
really nice and atmospheric music, well done
Thank you for the feedback! I am primarily a musician who has only in the last couple of years gotten into programming, so I'm glad to hear you liked the music :)
Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely check your game out. Cheers!
I had a good time playing your game. Here is some quick and constructive feedback: The story of this game is really cute and it fits the theme well. The jump feels a bit floaty (maybe increase gravity or something). The lighting and the sound design are great. You did a good job for your first game jam!
Thank you so much for trying it out! I definitely learned a lot, not only about game dev, but also how much you really have to focus to get the game done in time for the jam. I'll be a lot better prepared next time!
The concept for the game is really interesting. I had some fun playing, but I really wasnt sure what I was supposed to be avoiding so I didnt get very far in the game.
Thanks for trying it out! I'll pay more attention to making the intention more clear next time. I appreciate the feedback!
Just played the game, really fun, however, I found a bug where if you jump at a certain point, you go into some sort of limitless void and can't get out of it, however, it was fun.
Thank you very much! I was upset to find a few bugs like this myself after I had already submitted the game. Thanks so much for the feedback!
You're welcome, if you want, you can play my game and it would be great to get another dev's view on it!
I absolutely will! I plan on playing everyone's game who leaves me feedback on mine, plus some random ones. I'll see you on your page!
I relly did like it! the art was amazing and adorable, and I really liked the music. but the only think i think you should improve on is that i was kind of confused on waht to do, maybe you could havea tutoriel level of some kind to guide players in the right direction. Loved it!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I rewrote the guide on the menu screen a few times to try and make it clear what to do, but it could definitely use some work still. Thanks a ton!
