I just had a fever dream

Hey, the voice acting is amazing, and the few jokes were funny. The environment looks a bit boring with the single color low poly look. The character controller was a little janky, which made it hard to dodge the green lasers. Overall, definitely a fun experience – The music fits perfectly!! Maybe I would have made more of a story game out of this, with the characters you already have.
Pixel Art, Slow Subway Surfers with good music. I like it 11/10
But seriously nothing amazing, still pretty fun for a few minutes. Maybe the game could get more interesting by making it faster over time.
Also, just found out that the leaderboards are actually online, pretty cool as well. How did you do that?
The Graphics …. Wow. To pull that off in such a short amount of time is great. Even the UI looks amazing and fits the game pretty well. Unfortunately, for me, it falls a bit short on Gameplay, there are only so may ways you can make rolling dice interesting. The random events are a cool idea, but I got repeated events pretty soon. Still, for a span of 7 days, the game is pretty good and definitely has potential.
Hello, as the title already says we had problems uploading our project in time. We already had the project build to an exe. The internet just crashed while uploading. When it came back the deadline was over by a few seconds. Is there and way we can still add the game to the jam for others to play and rate?
Thanks

Very fun Shooter! The guns feel powerful and the sound-design was awesome. Not to mention, the graphics were pretty good too. After a while, it got really stressful, and the huge bugs were especially scary. The only problem I had was that enemies would sometimes spawn directly behind me, which made it fell a bit unfair. Regardless, one of my favorite entries so far!
I think your game looks amazing. It was a bit buggy (controls wouldn't work in full-screen), but I still enjoyed it very much. Also, I think the game is a bit too slow for my taste, but making the (by the way very good) cutscenes skipable was a great decision, especially if you died multiple times in the same level.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I agree, especially in the beginning, the game is kinda slow. At the end of the jam, there was not much time left for balancing. However, there are some difficulty settings in the menu if you want a better challenge.
(Only damage and healing values are adjusted though, so I don't know how much that changes for you)
This is a really polished entry for a game jam. The fast music definitely makes it more action packed. One thing I would change to randomize the pitch of the bug's death sound. It gets repetitive after some time.
I tried the android version too, and one thing I noticed is that sometimes it feels like the game does not register clicks. I know it is just my reaction time, but I'd still make the hitboxes for the mobile version larger.
I think it is great, that you tried out a unique movement system for the player. I love movement based games, where you really have to master your inputs to get good. Furthermore, I don't think the game is hard once you master the movement, but in my opinion it is missing some easier tutorial levels.
I know difficulty is hard to balance, but generally speaking it is more fun to play some levels you can complete easily while learning the mechanic, rather than dying dozens of times until you master the movement. (I could be completely wrong, too, and maybe you are going for that "Getting over it" difficulty-mastery style.) This is just my personal opinion, but maybe it will be worth it, if you give the difficulty balancing another shot.
Overall a cute and fun game. Perfect for a game jam!
This is exactly the call game I was looking for. There are a few bugs, but that's fine for a game jam. I's give you 5 stars on audio too, but I really do not like the eating sound effect. The music and ambient noises are just perfect and then there is this one sound which ruins it.
I have no idea how eating insects sound, but if you release y full version of this game, please fix this one sound. Overall, a great job!
Great Horror-Shooter, I liked it a lot! What is there is great, the look, the music, and sounds, but I think the game could get even better if you put more time into it. Add some scary sounds to the bugs, give better feedback when being hit and hitting enemies and add some more levels (for a full-release it needs more polish, but for a jam it's fine). Do that, and I would gladly purchase it off Steam or Itch!
Hey,
It would be really cool watching you play our game.

thanks!
I LOVE the game. Everything in it. Art. Gameplay. Look.
With the timer it is a bit more a puzzler than a shooter. I think that's ok, but the aggressive door-kicking and shooting asks, in my opinion, for Gameplay a bit more like Doom and less like a puzzle game. It is just personal preference though.
Great Job. Nice game!
Wow, I am really impressed. The combination of the simple 2D flying and the first person shooting is really unique. I like it a lot.
The only thing that I dare to criticize is that the droids are a bit dark and there is no real feedback when you hit one.
Other than that the game is awesome and reloading while steering and shooting to keep the ship destroyed felt great.
