In what way does your game fit the theme?
The entire tree population is stronger the more trees you have, the only way for the trees to survive one of the disasters is by having trees around them. The whole premise of the game is the network of the trees.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I did

Good game to chill for a 10 minutes.

It would be cool if you checked out my game for jam :)

This game is great! A calm soundtrack would have made it even more enjoyable, but I understand that you maybe didn't have the time to. Anyway, you got a lot done in just one week! Cool concept and simple but nice graphics!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that a calm soundtrack would of fit the theme of the game quite well and it is something I wish I had the time to do.

There was only one small problem: in one of the levels (I think it was level6?) I won, but it was on day three and I didn't have any trees

Developer

that’s very odd. Must have been some sort of bug, thanks for letting me know.

This game was really fun! It sucks that there was no audio in the game because that really would have added to the experience as a whole, but I understand that it is hard to hit all the design bases with such a short timeframe. Overall, this was a really enjoyable puzzle game to play and it fit the theme really well! It would be super cool to see this turn into a fully published game!

thank you for the kind words. I really wanted to make a soundtrack as well but it was very hard to fit into the schedule since I did everything solo.

I really like the idea, but it's a lot of mechanics to take in in the tutorial. Maybe introduce the players to new mechanics as they progress through the levels. Once I started getting it though, it created some interesting puzzles. Good work!

Developer

Thank you :). I understand it might have been too many mechanics to take it at once and I will think about that for the next jam.

Thanks for the feedback :)

It's a pretty cool idea, the problem is that you can skip the day without even planting a tree, so you avoid the wind and storms.

Developer

Didn’t think about that. Thanks for the input
