In what way does your game fit the theme?
Our game is about the friendships forged in battle and a desire to protect one's home with the help of others. Our characters know each other well and fight to protect their village.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
No, the majority of characters were made using art assets made by others on itch.io

Nice Graphics, but I didn't really know what to do in this game. I would be happy if you would test mine to :D
Thank you! Our artists all worked super hard to make it look nice! We're sorry you found it difficult, we ran into a lot of issues near the end so playability is not as great as we were hoping. Thank you for trying and can't wait to play yours!
Unfortunately something goes wrong when I try to download from this page, luckily I went to the game page, downloaded the files, and the exe worked.
In the story explanation given under the controls the text runs off the right side.
It was a little hard getting started, not knowing where to go. I appreciate the effort gone into the dialogue but it felt light on important information. I was just wondering when we'd get to the combat. So then I got there and it seems to have bugged out unfortunately. The enemies shrink but don't seem to die, and everyone was animating stuck in their positions.
Not sure how far development got, but my guess is the scope was a bit too large. I appreciate the work put into the presentation, but I think more emphasis towards the core gameplay would have served you better.
Anyway, you couldn't learn much from a jam game that came out perfect!
Thank you so much for such an in-depth review! We're sorry for the download issues you experienced. It was a scramble to get it all submitted and a lot of things got cut. So I can definitely see what you mean but the scope being too large. But I hope overall the game was a mainly positive experience for you. We all learnt a lot from what we achieved and didn't achieve. Can't wait to play your game!
