In what way does your game fit the theme?
Years ago... The village was undergoing a raid, and the King had fallen into enemy hands. In this game you will play as an archer, gather and assemble the knights to rescue the King. Remember, Stronger together!

The knight will be activate within a certain distance, keep the distance to remain alliance.

Ran into a bug at last, the victory screen should pop up while the boss was defeated.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code and art are designed for Brackeys Game Jam 2021.1.

nice concept, great art style & art direction too, I like the environment's ambiance. The game still needs some polishing, but its a really damn good foundation, good job guys, I had fun!

This is nice foundation for a project! Could see a lot of ways to expand on this like maybe some enemies only the player can damage, etc. Really enjoyed the arrow being able to go through enemies though giving more feedback on hits would make that feel even better. Main problems I ran into were there were points where my arrows would hit the air in front of me and the ally knights having slower moves speeds than the player was a bit tedious.

Well there are things that you can improve like the flip health when your player go to the left, or the animations, the arm that is holding the bow, and the boss fight, but in general you have a pretty good idea of a game, the art and sounds and the tutorial were really cool, just keep improving your skills and with practice you will do an incredible game, I would really want to see how you could expand the concept :D

  • The number above the player flips when they change direction which is weird

  • You can see the rain spawning. I think it should spawn above the screen instead

  • The art is pretty good

  • The walking animation feels a bit unnatural

  • Good tutorial but it’s a bit blurry

  • Shooting while walking results in the player looking like they’re standing still

  • Really good giant guy voiceover

  • Someone compared the aesthetic to Castle Crashers and I agree

  • If you shoot an arrow in mid-air they both just float

  • The arm has a weird pivot point (you can see in the screenshot above that the arm is just floating when aiming down)

  • The knights are sorta useless. I ended up just abandoning them

  • I defeated the boss but nothing happened (I know this is a known bug) so I just continued walking and then I started floating after what seems like a cliff
