Ya, being a beginner myself, I can say that submitting your game to a gamejam can definitely increase the downloads.

Sadly, I have my exams soon so I can't take part in.

Good luck to you!

My G, it was the joke

My first game jam I didn't finish but I joined another jam after and learned from the past mistakes I made. (Btw I'm ALSO a young programmer)

I am like a very young programmer so I hate unity and use fusion 2.5

Although Unity looks hard, I'm telling you that it is so much easier than you think. Brackeys helps with it all, and I think you should try it some day. I'm also pretty young and I think you should DEFINITELY try it (with asset packs if you need it)

I have tried unity and it's just too much coding and confusing stuff

I would waaaaaaaay rather use other engines I think i am going to switch to construct cause it's more advanced than  fusion maybe one day i will learn c#

hey, welcome to the jam, please have a look a my channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCy4cqKwe5Aa5IZkKAE0slJw

Hey Good luck on your first game jam! I recently did my first one too and I learned a lot because of it!

at this point, if anyone needs someone  to collab I will be available some times during the jam (I am 11 btw)
