I've been self promoting in comments and reviewing other peoples games, thats how you get your game noticed. However, don't do fake ratings just for reviews, test other peoples games and give them a proper review and they might do the same.
Yeah. People doing fake rating only damage his/her own work, his/her own community. We all should have an ethical behavior.
