Developer

Thank you :)

Great style, atmosphere and an original idea that was implemented pretty well! Loved every moment while playing this game. The only possible complaint I could think of is that the levels felt a bit samey but other than it's a 10/10!

Developer(+1)

Thanks im glad you liked it so much :) Yeah understandable complaint, i think its in part cos of the jams time-frame.

Submitted(+1)

Had a blast, the skull was pretty fast.

NumbSkull, this game isn't dull.

It was pretty fun before it was done.

Developer

Aha thanks!  love the poem :D

Excellent craftsmanship. Everything from the satisfying bumps to the jingle at the end  to the trail left behind the skull screams that you had a vision in mind and you executed on it very well. My only complaint is the rooms that you start in seem to be an absolute magnet for the skull to get stuck in. Which to be fair is chaotic as heck, but that is really the only complaint that I can find. Visuals are stunning and on-brand, the bone jokes are consistently 'humerus', and the levels are short and sweet. An excellent addition to the jam!

Developer

Wow thank you thats so kind of you! Yeah I can get that, I think with more time the levels could have felt more fair. Im glad the puns were appreciated, I wanted to lighten the tone :)

This is a great game. It's balancing between "Oh this game is so easy" and " *sigh* How many times this dumb skull will bounce before hitting the goal?"

Everything is nice.  Fits the theme perfectly and feels good to play.

Developer

Thank you so much, im glad you found it fun through the frustration :)

Submitted(+1)

Very nice style, it's pretty smooth but it's very frustrating in a good way, it's like the "getting over it" of this jam.

Developer

Thank you! Aha im glad its in a good way :)

Holy cow i absolutely adore the art style for this! Love the whole old school 3d feel to it

Developer

I'm glad you liked the style!

Help.

I think using velocity or AddForce would be better.

Developer

Wow never seen that before in the playtests, how did it happen? Also it does use AddForce when you hit, why do you think it would make a difference?

Submitted

When you move with velocity or Addforces unity will first check for collisons. In contrast changing your poition by transform.position or move. position just telports you a small amount making it posible to walk through some walls

I loved the graphics!  It's also a really nice, chaotic idea! The skull feels a little bit unresponsive though, I remember standing in one place, striking the skull the same direction and all the times it flied randomly. Other than that, great game!

Developer

Thank you I'm glad you liked the graphic, ah that's because I made it do that on purpose 😅 i added some randomness to the direction you hit to stop it becoming a precision golf game

It is really fun!! I love the art and music fits well. the trail of blood following the skull should be more pixelated maybe? Also the text is a bit too difficult to see, you should move the letters more apart from each other!

Developer(+1)

Im glad you had fun :) Oh its a screen-pace pixelation so everything is done to the same amount, will look at the trail tho. Hmm i will look at the text too, were you playing it in fullscreen?

Submitted

No, I wasn't in fullscreen. This is my view of the text. I think it is too together?

Developer(+1)

Ah thats why, if you go into fullscreen on unity then its fixed, its an issue with webgl making the view tiny

Submitted

Oh alright.

Fun game, with an interesting concept. Its basically golf on ice, with a skeleton, its great. Only bug I've found is that you can beat levels with 0 hits by just going into the skull with your body, and pushing it. But hey, why would I do that when I can smash it! Good game ! :)

Developer

Aha im glad you like it. Yeah i havent come up with a good solution for stopping that yet but im glad you still liked it!

Submitted(+1)

I like the art. The game is so fun to play. Maybe you can add a tiny pause when you hit the ball, it will feel better to hit it. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! There is some shake on the hit but hitstop is also a good idea! :)

Submitted(+1)

Wow! Really cool idea and really well executed in my opinion. The game looks and sounds gorgeous! The only thing I would maybe add is a pause menu to adjust some settings and restart the level.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah i thought they shoud be added but will have to do it after the jam. Did you ever feel you needed to restart levels?

Submitted(+1)

Yes, one time, when the ball flew out of the map because it got too fast. I understand why you didn't add it though. Apart from this one instance, the game probably doesn't really need it.

Developer

Ahh i see, yea that could have been fixed by just having the skull respawn but I never had that happen so didnt know about the bug! :D
