Thanks for checking out the game and giving feedback! Means a lot : )

Really cute and charming game! Interesting choice to leave which characters are in each location as a secret until you go to that location. At first I wished I could see that before I chose a location but I don't know, it gives you a chance to communicate with characters you might avoid initially.

Pretty neat, well done! :)

Amazing! Love the characters and the animations! One of the best games in the jam for sure, well done! :)

Lovely pixel art! The concept is pretty fun too! I think most of the other comments have mentioned the stuff I wanted to note. My biggest gripe was that ghosts could appear to suddenly and you have no time to react. Maybe some kind of arrow around the edge of the screen that signifies if a ghost is nearby in that direction could work. Just an idea.

Still, overall, it was quite good, well done! :)

This was fun, loved the physics! I did feel like I was cheating when just walking into the things I had to demolish and glitching the wrecking ball in there, but it sure was fun! I loved the variety in the levels, quite creative.

Overall, great entry! Well done! :)

This was really fun! The animations are incredibly charming and the gameplay is fun as well, I love how you were able to make such a complete mini metroidvania with the restrictions! I did get stuck a couple of times in the spin cycle room and couldn't figure how to get out, but I'm sure I just missed something.

Fantastic entry! Well done to the team! :)

Thanks for playing!

I didn't intentionally think about Sekiro when coming up with the idea but now that you mention it, I bet I subconsciously got the idea of a parrying samurai from there, haha

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for checking the game out!

Thanks for playing! I was debating on whether to add or not sounds for when the attacks fall but decided against it cause eventually you can get 2-3 attacks that fall at the same time, and since there's only one channel for sound I thought it might sound weird with them cutting each other off often.

But I do agree it does sound off with no sound at all as well

Thanks for checking out the game!

Thanks for playing! Happy to hear you're up for playing again, I'll probably be doing a small update with some bug fixes and small tweaks on numbers and balancing after the jam

Thanks for checking it out!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Yeah, there are some stuff that need tweaking. I'll probably update the game a bit in the future after properly plastering it.

Your score is pretty good, my highscore is around 170 if I remember correctly

Fun game! The only real complaint I have is that the background felt a bit empty, but that's not really that important. Well done! Glad you guys had fun making the game and hopefully you make more in the future! :)

Nice game! I do wish there was a score or time that was kept track of tho. Nevertheless, still fun, good job! :)

I love this! We had a pretty small amount of screen real estate to start with and you go and decide to make a 4-player game!? Not only that but the game is also great!? I'm honestly really impressed! I really enjoyed the various platforms you added with each level. One of my faves of the jam so far, fantastic job! :)

This was great! I love the combination of both games and how the first one feeds into the second! Really clever idea! I liked how you could lure the wraith in such a way that it dies, pretty neat!

Well done, I had fun playing it! :)

I love how this game looks! I find 3D on lower resolutions to look super cool and this was no exception! Great way to visualize the player slowly freezing, the UI and telegraphing was top-notch which was essential for a game like this with the restrictions of the jam. Great job, really liked it! :)

Damn, if this game existed back then it would've gone so hard! Not to say that it's not fun now, of course it's fun! I'm quite a sucker for this type of game and it was very fun! I like how you can take a breather and decide more carefully on which path to take if you so wish.

Overall, really nice, well done! :)

Nice simple slot game, it's pretty satisfying to see the reels to stop in succession. I like the addition of buyable, although I will admit I almost missed going to that screen at all 😅

I didn't play enough to reach NG+, I'm quite curios what does it add?

Nice game, lovely pixel art! It is a bit challenging for me as well, as others have mentioned. I do wish fires would respawn you with the full 3 hearts, but I understand why you chose to leave it at 1. I never really got used to the jump, it felt a bit off, but not so much as to detract a lot from the game. While I do appreciate the fast deaths and retries, the death might be a tad too fast. Often the game over screen would show up even before I saw the character hit the spikes.

I really enjoyed the temperature mechanic tho, it really did make me go faster at some points. Overall, pretty good, well done! :)

Thanks for playing! Glad to see you in this jam as well :)

Thanks for playing!

There are some interesting level ideas here. I only played up until level 12, so I'm not sure how many levels there are but the levels did seem to be building nicely on top of each other, with new mechanics being introduced slowly. Well done! :)

It has potential but the game needs a bit more polishing. The jumping feels too floaty, some of the hitboxes seem off, and the levels were a bit samey. It also seems like some of the restrictions were slightly broken, but that can be overlooked.

Still, congrats on your submission! :)

Damn, the style is impeccable! Loved it, especially the intro cutscene! I will say, the itch page said that hitting cars leads to losing gas but it wasn't noticeable to me. Other than that, amazing job, well done! :)

This game feels very complete, well done! I will admit I did get stuck on the 3rd level, trying to get my guy to stay on the platform 😅

The only feedback I could think of is that I didn't realize that freezing a section of the screen also made some of the walls in it passable (like in the 3rd level). Since the ability is called freezing I only taught it would freeze. But there's a chance that I might've missed telegraphed about that while playing.

Other than that, great job guys, it's a pretty unique and interesting game! :)

Thanks for playing! That's a fair point, thanks for the feedback :)

Nice! Really cute art! It was fun going fast down a slope. I think I got lucky with how far I could go with just jumping as soon as I land hehe

Great work, had fun playing it! :)

Really cute top down shooter! I like how you're able to freeze yourself as well, nice touch! It's fun, although the difficulty does suddenly ramp up at a certain point and you just get overwhelmed (or well, at least I did 😅)

Great job! :)

You're absolutely right, that's a great idea! Now that I think about quite a bit of deckbuilders have that and I completely neglected it 😅

Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed enough to play it multiple times until you got an ending!

I'm definitely thinking about possibly adding an undo option, although I'm trying to figure out how to do it without players relying to much on it. For example, a player could play an action to draw a card, not like the card, undo that action, and use their action on something else. You could say if a player wants to "cheat" like that, why not just let them, it is a single player game after all. But I don't know, it doesn't sit right with me. Still thinking about it.

Damn, this felt cozy af. I'm a fan of match 3 games and this was pretty good. The whole game felt quite polished. Well done, I enjoyed it quite a bit :)

Not a bad space shooter. I really liked the movement, I haven't seen another shooter like this before. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned the enemy hitboxes were quite frustrating. The enemy bullets were hard to detect since they blended a little bit with the background. A more contrasting color would have helped a lot.

Despite my complaints, the game does have interesting elements, good job! :)

This was... brutal... This story reminded me of people I know and things that have happened. The art is very cute, which makes the story sting even more with how contrasting it is. The ending left me shaking, I can only imagine being a situation like that.

I'm glad you published this game, it feels like you poured your heart out.

Neat boss rush game. As has been mentioned, it does feel a bit janky, but with some more tweaking I think it could become quite good! The animations in particular are quite cool looking! Overall, a solid entry, good job! :)

Damn, knowing this game was started 20 years ago makes it such an experience. It truly does feel like a game from that time and not in a bad way, in a great way! I loved it! I can totally imagine this being one of those games I played at school with friends.

Great game! Brought me back to the past :)
