Nice game! I think it would be good to have the shooting upgrades respawn or be randomly spawned around the map because they are really necessary to get far into the game. Also, it was super easy to get trapped by the monsters. Maybe clustering the monster spawners tighter or spawning monsters less often would make it harder to get surrounded.
Fun to play, I like the art style and the music matches nicely!
One thing I would change is the color of the mouse icon because it was barely visible for me.
The gameplay is simple, but the art is fairly well made. Regardless, still fun to play. Nice job
