Love the Trippy visuals
Dodgin was fun too
I felt the shooting to be a bit bland tho, just holding down F wasnt really engaging perhaps trying adding a limitation of some sort?

Developer(+1)

Agreed, there probably needs to be some kind of variation to make the gameplay feel less static. Thanks for the feedback!

this is pretty cool, I really like the simplistic style, sound and effects

Visually perfect. I hope you keep working on it! I loved the 1st track, 2nd and 3rd were great but I wish they were trippier and less conventional, like crazier progressions of the 1st. Rhythms could follow erratic bullet patterns  for total union of sound and visual but that's a possibility for the future I guess! Inspiring game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The audio artist could definitely agree with you there - the first track was definitely different from the other two. Initially we wanted the audio to follow the shooting patterns, but dropped it when the methods we tried didn't work. We'd definitely put that feature in when we figure it out though

Simply incredible!

What did you make this in?

Developer

Thanks! :) Our programmer decided to build this game in Processing

The whole audio/visual vibe is unlike anything I've ever played. I'm a fan of bullet hells too. Great stuff

Developer

Thanks for playing our game!

woah, this was one of my favorite games this jam! so hypnotic, and definitely chaotic. The visual gameplay really put me in a trance until i finally managed to beat it haha. Great job!

I really liked the music, literally one of the best sound tracks I've heard in gamejam games! It wasn't repetitive at all and it fitted the game really well. I don't understand why you can shoot. Maybe I didn't shoot it enough but there is no indicator or sound effect to tell me I am doing it right so after a while I just stopped shooting (maybe I missed something?). Also after a couple of minutes it got a bit boring. The graphics are simple but clean. Definitely a good choice cuz you don't want 20 different colors for bullet hells. You hit the nail on the head with the difficulty. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, we'll definitely shift some things around if we decide to update this game in the future :)) So far the only indicator of whether or not a shot hits is the health bar, but we realize that this might not really be enough because there's a sound effect for the firing, but none for the connecting hit.

Very nice graphics, the motion blur was used really in a smart way

Very Unique game. The style and the music gave an eerie alien feel to it. Love the game for its uniqueness. Loved every seconds of it!!

I loved so many things about this game, music, artstyle, attack patterns, feeling and fact that it was made with processing. I will come back to this game see what happens when you finish it

Thank you!

I think this is an amazing game. The graphics look really cool, like something drawn with a pencil. It is in general really atmospheric, also addicting. One thing that came to my eye, is that there is no mouse when you hover it over the toolbar at the top of the window.

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! We'll look into that in the future, thanks for pointing it it out :)
