The gameplay and story are both very chaotic. Black Friday is a very stressful and chaotic event and the gameplay shows that!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I have made most of the assets myself including art, code, sound! I used very few sounds from other sources.

Incredible game! It was really fun and chaotic. A bit nitpicky here, but sometimes the next item to be picked up has a large distance from the current item. Probably you can give a distance upper bound on early game, then go further as time goes.

Great idea that you don't instantly die when stress bar is full, but after some time when bar is full.
I think that would be nice if there was sprint, because constant dodging is not punished that much.
I was afraid that npc movement will be annoying, but nothing like that happened and after dodging e.g. a crowd there was enough space to not take damage.
The art was incredible. It really captured the panic of late night shopping. Great work, I world love to hear what you think of my entry.

This is a 100% accurate recreation of Black Friday. Love the theme. Most of my time was spent just spamming the space bar and heading toward the next box. Very good artwork and great concept though.

Art is very good, controls are clear (and the screens explaining them are very cute). Navigating the crowd is extremely difficult, but the core concept is really cool, with having to manage a stress bar rather than just having to always avoid crowds outright. Music fits well. Creative!
Really fun little game. I love the presentation. The art is very cute and has a nice polish to it. I will say it is pretty hard lol. I think my best score was 30 and I really gave it a serious go. Maybe some more negative space between the crowds would help.
Yeah the crowds are all randomly generated and not really optimized to make more exponential difficulty. I don't know if I'm going to continue this game, so I might fix it or not idk. :/
