That was very interesting to see where that would take me. I wish there was some kind of indication as to which door meant what, but overall good job getting a game submitted.

Hope I'm not too late lo

The style on this game was amazing. Took me a second to figure out that the arrows were transformations and not a greater than sign, but once I did it was very fun. The ending was worth staying in.

Not sure I can really get behind the ending message, but it was a fun little platformer. Wish it were a bit longer though.

I love a bit of free running. Only real issue I had was the mouse sensitivity being very high. Otherwise solid job.

Fun little rogue-like. I just felt sad whenever I had to swap off the shotgun. Overall great job.

Backspace on Keyboard or B on controller.

That was very solid. I did get lost on the first quest for a while, but good once I figured it out.

Great concept. Bold move to make a card game for a jam, but good job. It was a bit simple, but the foundation was there.

That was super fun. I was surprised when I went through the first first door and found myself in a doom-like. Great job overall.

So the art and atmosphere was on point. I do have to say that controls felt a bit delayed almost. Like sometimes I would hit dash and it wouldn't dash for like half a second and I'd fall into a pit or onto spikes. The timing for the down attack to bounce was also weirdly tight. I was at the wall behind the second door for far too long trying to hit the bulb just right to bounce high enough. I do think this is a good start and I can really feel your inspiration. I'd love to see what you could do with some more time into something like this.

A fellow wave shooter enjoyer lol. Very great job. I only encountered a couple bugs. Sometimes I wasn't able to pick up coins and they would just stay there until the next round and I couldn't pick them up. And another where I would get hit multiple times in a row by the same enemy so fast that I got killed almost instantly. That being said, still super fun. Good work.

The visuals are amazing and the gameplay was very unique. Just had to read the page first to actually understand it.

Took a bit to get used to, but very enjoyable after I figured it out.

Fun concept, but the floaty controls made things very difficult. Good job overall though.

Oh no! Do you remember what you did to get it stuck? I'd love to take a look at what went wrong.

That was really fun. Good job with a solid rogue like in that short of time.

I enjoyed the concept of watching the ghost through the key hole, but I couldn't really tell how to get mana and I would just kind of take damage randomly. Great job on getting this done though.

I couldn't get past the part with the symbols and the door. I did like every combination and it still didn't open. But the torches were super cool at the beginning and I like the platforming section. I also cheesed the floor pattern puzzle because I was still running when I entered the room so I could just run across the floor.

Fun puzzle game. Basically an adventure game on a desktop. I also loved "My hopes and dreams.txt" in the trash.

This is such a great concept! There needs to be some tweaking, but just loading this game was such a delight. Great job. Definitely 5/5 for Innovation.

The gathering of resources was not very well explained and I couldn't figure out what to do for a while. I also would have liked an explanation as to how much each thing cost and what they did. Great job completing the submission.

I couldn't seem to do anything. I did however get very curious about what was behind the doors since I couldn't open them, so that is something. I would love to know if I was missing something. I could only hide, but I couldn't interreact with anything but the closet.

So much fun! I was only disappointed when it ended lol. The only thing I noticed was a couple spelling/grammar mistakes, but very minor.

(1 edit)

Bad ending. The room I'm playing in was noisy at the time and I missed some dialog lol. Got the good on the next try. Not sure what the secret one is though... hmmmm

Honestly the reason for the 8 direction lock is because of adding controller support. It was easier to get him to turn with the right stick locked in 8 directions. We had a lot of comments on our last jam project that said it was too hard so probably an over correction lol. Thanks for the feedback!

This was super fun and the art was so charming. Simple gameplay, but very enjoyable. I will have to take away points for not letting me pet the cats though... lol

That was quite fun. I was hoping I could switch between the weapons as I got them, but that's fine. I couldn't get the box you have to push to move at first until I got my foot stuck in it while jumping and then it slid super fast lol. Keep up the good work and keep making games. A warning though that ChatGPT is notorious for making janky code, so I'd stick to just watching the good old YouTube tutorials for now.

Completely understand that. We made it aim based on the 8 directional sprite, but that could have been a mistake. Thanks for the feedback.

The puzzle platforming was super cool. I did have a few problems with the camera though. It was too high up most of the time and you could see what was below you. There were also sometimes in the section where you were controlling multiple versions of yourself where I couldn't see far enough ahead. But minor problems with an overall great game.

Here it is. Definitely gonna play yours as well.

The headless human. It could have also been the death state bugging out too since I didn't pay that close attention to my health and it could have been low at the time.

I had to pull myself away from this so I could look at other submissions haha. It was very fun. It did take me a bit to realize that my own fireballs could hurt me. I love the chaotic nature of this idea, but I do think the tight spaces in a lot of areas does cause a bunch of accidental deaths. The only other real critique I have is that when I respawned and a bunch of the doors were already open, I did get swarmed by like 7 goblins in the starting area. Overall this was wonderful.
