How does you game fit the theme?
It's a game within a game sort of situation and the idea is for at the end to be unsure if the person you play as is still in a game or not
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
For the most part I used some code such as some for basic character movement and title screen and a few sprites I had already made but only 3 sprites I already had.

Great game, would be great if there was some way to defeat the enemies, and if the audio track was longer. Other than that, good job!
The game is good, the graphics are good too but after some time I feel nausea. Rated it! If possible do rate and play my game :)
Well done for putting this together in only a few days - especially for you first submission. It was very much like the sort of thing you'd see on the BBC Micro back in the day :) The maze level was really well laid out and the skeletons really made me jump when they popped through the walls! I wasn't able to get past the second level though - I think one of the jumps was maybe a little too difficult. My main criticism would be the background music on level two as it started to give me a headache after a minute or so. Really great first effort all in all though! Keep it up!
It's a good game for be your first one, good luck with your next projects :)
I really thought it would be just the maze. Imagine my surprise when I got a few more mini-games and some fun meta dialogue after the car part. Good job :)
Rated your Game !!! can you check out mine too? It'd be a huge help if you do rate mine!,
Thank you so much!
here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1415313
I like the lighting with the shadows. Did you place occluders manually or programatically? I implemented the same feature in our game, but since our maze is randomly generated, it was quite tricky!
So I didnt really use any Light occluders. I dont know if you can do this in other game engines but I did mine in godot in which I used a Canvasmodulate on the map and then a light source as a child node to the key which made the shadows.
Funny idea playing as a key, but I never found the exit.
Hey good submission :D I was not often a key in games if at all :P
