How does you game fit the theme?
The battles someone fights when dealing with anxiety are in some ways, completely not real, only in their minds, and not physical. However, anyone who has ever fought anxiety can tell you that these fights are just as real as any tangible conflict, even though they are not seen by others.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Hey!

First of all, congrats for finishing the game! It was so cool! I love the pixel art and the puzzles are very interesting. I think some music would be great but other that that this was a very solid game. I enjoyed it a lot, you did very well!

It would be really awesome to have you playing my game too, if you don't mind of course. ^_^

For me, it was very difficult to finish 1st level. It's like I have 1000 fps instead of 60, everything is so fast...

Great game! I was amazed at how intuitive it-- at times I was hoping for instructions on what I was supposed to do but the way in which you designed and built the game made it pretty easy to figure out-- not an easy thing to do so well done! The description says this game is about anxiety and mental conflict but we didn't get that until the very last scene when she wakes up. I would have loved more of that throughout, perhaps an in-game explanation or visuals that sets up the enemies as mental health issues. I think audio could really help communicate those ideas-- not just music but sound effects especially. Overall great job, you created a really cool game!

Thanks for the feedback, we worked hard to make the mechanics as intuitive as possible.  I think that mental-health idea was more clear in our heads than in the final product haha, but I'm glad you connect with that aspect of the game, it's definitely the aspect we're most passionate about.  We would have loved to add audio, but we didn't have the time, and our skills aren't well-developed in that area.

I got stuck in the first level trying to get back up. The jump and movement were too fast for me to control very well. Nice job with the lighting effects though.

I was able to pass the first and second level! The second level was pretty fun trying to get the right order before the time runs out.  The third one with the water I couldn't figure out, it was pretty fun fighting him!  Good job!

I'm glad you had fun, I really like the level 2 puzzle as well.  In level 3, you can try using water to extinguish fireballs.  Thanks so much for playing.

Pretty fun platforming and puzzles, i would refrain from using random puzzles with zero hints but you cant expet the best of the best from jam games. Good job, i would appreciate it if you played our game as well. Thanks!

Thanks for playing, we had trouble finding the best way to teach each levels mechanics, so we kind of just didn't teach the mechanics 😅.  Glad you had fun
