Hey Jammers!
I am a product/service designer currently transitioning into games design. I have experience creating smaller games in jams and solo projects (I estimate around 12 games). I can do code well enough to make quick prototypes in Unity, can do simple pixel art and vector graphics, and have experience in UX. My main skill, however, is in game design and in team facilitation. You can see my stuff in my portfolio (https://www.douglasdriving.com/portfolio) and in my newsletter (https://douglasdriving.substack.com/). I enjoy exploring innovative game mechanics and novel concepts.
My ambition for this jam is to connect with new people, build something fun and innovative, and grow as a designer. I would estimate that I can work for about 40h in total on the jam.
As a role, I would want to facilitate the team, manage our tasks, and support the design process (although design decisions would be shared of course). I would also assist with coding and 2D sprites to fill the needs of the project. I could imagine joining a team or putting one together.
Looking for people with ambitions similar to mine. Would love to connect before the jam.
Please dm if you are interested! :)
