hello! cool that someone actually played this haha.
i 100% agree with your point - the script is very weak right now. too many random scattered thoughts. i'll work on the messaging . thanks for the input!
So far we have a game designer (me), a Unity developer, a UI designer, and a sound designer/composer. As a team, we will be looking to have fun and create something novel. I will be facilitating the team and my goal for this jam is to get the teamwork flowing and create a space where everyone can contribute to the best of their ability. I see jams as a perfect way of connecting with others and exploring cool game ideas together.
We are looking for someone who can make sprites and backgrounds for the game.
DM me if you are interested and want to know more! You can add me on discord @ Douglas#1199
Hey Jammers!
I am a product/service designer currently transitioning into games design. I have experience creating smaller games in jams and solo projects (I estimate around 12 games). I can do code well enough to make quick prototypes in Unity, can do simple pixel art and vector graphics, and have experience in UX. My main skill, however, is in game design and in team facilitation. You can see my stuff in my portfolio (https://www.douglasdriving.com/portfolio) and in my newsletter (https://douglasdriving.substack.com/). I enjoy exploring innovative game mechanics and novel concepts.
My ambition for this jam is to connect with new people, build something fun and innovative, and grow as a designer. I would estimate that I can work for about 40h in total on the jam.
As a role, I would want to facilitate the team, manage our tasks, and support the design process (although design decisions would be shared of course). I would also assist with coding and 2D sprites to fill the needs of the project. I could imagine joining a team or putting one together.
Looking for people with ambitions similar to mine. Would love to connect before the jam.
Please dm if you are interested! :)
Hello Jammers!
I am looking for people to collaborate with for this jam.
I am a product/service designer currently transitioning into games design. I have experience in creating smaller games in jams and solo projects (I estimate around 12 games). I can do code well enough to make quick prototypes in Unity, can do simple pixel art and vector graphics, and have experience in UX. My main skill, however, is in games design and in team facilitation. You can see my stuff in my portfolio and in my newsletter.
My ambition for this jam is mainly to connect with new people and practice my skills. I aim to work for the whole weekend and will make sure to export something playable. I enjoy exploring innovative game mechanics and novel concepts.
I could imagine joining a team or putting one together. Would love to connect before the jam to make sure we have similar ambitions. If you have a specific skill you wanna utilize like music/sound production, art creation, or programming that is awesome, but the personal match is the most important part to me. I am flexible in terms of my role but would love to have a say in the design process.
Please write to me if you are interested!!! 🙂
Thanks!
I created all assets myself except for the music and some of the sound-effects. The music i a royality-free music loop that I downloaded from dl-sounds.com/ . It would be cool if I was able to create music myself, but for this project I decided to focus on other things :)
