Cute story! I included it in my Buddy Up Jam: Winter 2022 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

nice intro! It makes much fun to drive around, looks good! Good game!

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed playing!

Really lovely opening story, and the music and lighting was so mellow and lovely! Echoing other comments about the controls on keyboard, a bit too swoopy when I turned left and right, but otherwise a lovely pleasant game

Developer

Thank you! We did mostly test it on controller, so that totally makes sense! Glad you enjoyed the opening, music and lighting!

Great art, I LOVE Boltby's design. I wanna give him a hug. The music makes me almost wanna fall asleep, it's so calming.

It's a bit of a shame that it feels almost impossible to play on a keyboard, but with controller it feels just fine. Only real issue is that on my end at least, the jump button is mapped to square instead of x (I use a PS4 controller).

The player feels very slippery to control, and I honestly would've added a controllable camera? Both to add a better sense of control as well as to make it a little easier to find the bolts. Not exactly a necessity, just something I wasn't personally used to lol

Thanks for the feedback! This was our first 3D game, so there were a few things that took us longer to work through than we had expected!

We did want to add a controllable camera, too, but this was also our first time working with the non-standard camera (we used cinemachine), so it was something we just didn't get around to!

I really enjoyed the intro, it's always nice to have at least some back story, and it's even better since it was animated :) The gameplay itself has been fun as well, though some bolts were quite hard to reach haha, but the map was fun and visually very appealing!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Really appreciate the feedback! We wanted to make some bolts harder to get to try to encourage people to replay to get up the leader board haha!

Nice music and art! A bit too difficult for me to control, very sensitive, and I'm obviously too rough in the edges for that haha. But a cute concept, and I really liked the intro comic book look!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback! The controls are better in controller so if you played on keyboard I totally understand haha

Love it! The Artstyle + Music + Controls feels fun to play with. I even explored the map a bit :D Going offroad feels fluid. Gives me for some reason Spyro vibes???

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! That is a huge compliment :D I’m so glad you had fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I LOVED Spyro as a kid so that means a lot! I totally see what you mean, too, I think it's the way he falls is kind of reminiscent of how Spyro glides haha.

Very cool game, cute artstyle and great controlls. It feels like im skating on water.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! This was our first 3D game so we really tried hard to push ourselves and get it feeling good to play!

You guys did great, unity3d engine physics are always a challange but it feels fluid.

Developer

Thank you, I appreciate that!

Thank you for giving it a try!! Trying to dial in the physics for the hoverboard was a new adventure for me, and I still have a lot to learn!

Thank you for your kind words and feedback!
