Nice game with a nice aesthetic. The post-processing effects look great, and the music was fantastic as well. Really liked the gameplay overall, but I think it could use a little more fine-tuning. The player's jump is really quick, which may be good for platforming, but isn't so good when you're trying to weave through tight clusters of bullets. It's tough to dodge things in the air. I found that the safest spot was to just hang out on the bottom of the map and slightly wiggle back and forth as needed.
Overall though, it's a really nice little game and you did a good job with it!

I love this! The game is very well polished, the music is decent, the gameplay is hard but fair (most of the time), and the game doesn't overstay its welcome. Great submission! And I can always appreciate a fellow Godot user ;)

If you could check out my game as well I would be grateful!

Visuals are great! I think the gameplay needs a bit of  tweaking though, I have no idea how much hp I have and the gameplay feels unfair to the player. You want to avoid the player feeling "there is nothing I could've done to avoid getting hit there" and I found that happened to me quite a bit.  When I got hit it often felt unavoidable, and there definitely needs to be more anticipation on those beams, I don't think anyone can react quick enough to dodge those things lol. That being said, it has a very clean visual style and the rhythm elements are well executed! Well done and congrats on the submission!

Thanks! I definitely could’ve fixed the health problem by just telling the player that the opacity of them is their health but I wanted to try and keep this mostly text-less. A friend also told me a bit before submitting that I should add more time to the beams but that would have required me taking a lot of time to tweak the timing of all the lasers which I didn’t feel like doing but I totally get that. If I am to continue this project or something like that I would probably, first of all fix those problems but also remove all the RNG that makes stuff feel unfair and have some sort of proper editor for levels. I planned on making levels in a custom editor originally but I realized that would take a long time to make the editor so I resorted to manually typing JSON which is not fun and why I did not want to go back to it haha

Omg the ost is just excellent! The RGB effect is beautiful and the gameplay is just too polished and cleaaan! I love it!

Thank you!! The music was super fun to make, I’ve recently started learning to make music and it was really fun to mess around with shaders a bit too!

damn, this game is hard but it’s so well made! I love the basic black white and the rgb effect. The visuals are very great.
