Really neat concept with the gravity! Nice job.

Interesting game and a neat concept. It reminds me somewhat of Nova Drift.

The gameplay felt fairly solid, though without taking damage from bullets there's not a lot of challenge.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I click on A the game does not start

I really liked the floatiness of the bullets and shit, felt really good for being in space. My first round i flew off screen and never found my way back and had to reset, might be nice to clamp the player to the viewport bounds and add a reset button.

Developer

Great feedback. The plan was for it to be in an arena, surrounded by a circular wall. I've improved the camera so it follows you more the further you go from the sun. Didn't get it all implemented in time for the jam though :-)

I really liked how the bullets were also affected by gravity! 😃

It took me a few tries (i.e. dies 💀) in the beginning to understand what was going on as I didn’t know what could kill me and what couldn’t.  So, this could be highlighted a bit more explicitly

Also, after figuring out the gameplay, I “cheated” a bit and just stayed away from the middle of the map to shoot things. Maybe the player could have a stronger gravitational pull towards the sun so they can’t stay safe on the “sidelines”. Or, even shorter bullet life

Cool concept to explore more on!

I'm just implementing a boundary around the sun. Also going to implement some sort of mass attack if you're too far out :-) I've missed the deadline though. Also missed getting music in. Never mind! I'll keep developing anyway! Thanks for the feedback.

Welcome!

This is very visually pleasing. I'd love to see it further developer with more content for sure!

definitely the start of something promising :)) was fun to float around and blow up planets and controls felt pretty satisfying with a gamepad

pressing "A" for start did not work, I could not play (

Developer

Ah, it's A on a controller, not keyboard. It's controller only.

I like this! It def feels unfinished with the lack of music and stuff but I like the base game here. My feedback is that I would make the shooting not be affected by the players movement and I would make the movement a little more responsive

Developer

Hiya. Thanks for that feedback. I've never entered a jam before. I think I got over-excited and forgot that I have a full-time (non-programming) job and 2 kids :-) Gonna keep cracking on with it in my spare time though.
