The gameplay is pretty repetitive.
I'm not sure if I like the timer or not :p I tend to like to take my time with puzzle-y games so it was a bit stressful. Also didn't feel good to be sent back to a previously level. Maybe would've been alright if you fail twice on the current level?
I like the concept for this game, I liked the simplicity and the tricky quick thinking. I think the timer was a little short and it seems like the timer starts before the complete level loads. Overall, nice work!
Overall this was very cool! I enjoyed the concept and some of the levels were really mind-benders. It was a lot of fun! I enjoy all the fake outs and it can be hard to read. I think this could really be improved by some music and sound effects. Slightly faster movement or a better sense of feedback could add a bit too. Also, I should say that I really did not like being sent back to the previously level. It felt frustrating to have to replay sections when I made a mistake.
Still a pretty cool idea though! I love the timer and the construction of the puzzles!
I hope you will rate my game and follow me too! Great work!
I really liked the concept and the visuals felt really polished. I think I can understand the desire to have the backtracking to clear the players head of the current puzzle and similarly the timer to stop them from staring at it and solving in one move, but I felt both were a bit distracting. The timer was for me way too short, and so there was no time to make an educated guess in the later levels and I just was guessing. I think the later puzzles are complicated enough that even sitting and staring at the board people will mess up. Great job though on your first jam game!
I like the simplicity of the game.
