A very complete game :)

Cool atmosphere achieved with a very minimalistic graphic style. I like the idea of the limited light, but I think it might be a little too limited. I got stuck without light, and no way to see where I was going, or a way to get it back. I was also experiencing the glitch effect described below. Cool idea overall. It would be fun to see what you could do with all the feedback, and a little more time to polish. Nice job!

Thanks for trying out the game. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. yes the difficulty level was a bit harder than intended but i wanted to make the player realize how much that piece of light is important and that could only happen when you lose it (as stated in the second theme) but yeah the difficulty became much more harder due to the lack of guidance. I have also observed that players are not even able to pass the first mission because after that the problem with the visibility resolves itself (except for few parts). moreover players have also seemed to ignore the map given in certain parts in order to guide the player where to go. I will try fixing all the bugs in the game but the glitch that you all are talking about might be a trap but you can't see that due to lack of sight.( maybe i need a trailer)

I couldnt finish the game because i ran out of light and moving forward seemed to start having a glitchy effect, but i liked the atmospheric sense your game had, and it was somewhat neat, albeit a bit awkwardly implemented. I feel like we needed a bit more guidance on things, and the difficulty was a bit harder than probably intended

Developer

Thank you for trying out the game, i have placed the light orbs in such a way so that the player doesn't get out of light very often. if you are getting glitchy effect, it might be a trampoline you are bumping into that pushes you away from your way, or it might be because i exported the game in HTML, i should have exported a windows file. I see some sound delays some text glitches and slow movement while in browser however the windows file is working perfectly fine. about guidance you can always check control section. Atlast i am glad you liked it.

Btw, this game doesn't quite fit into Rule A because there is grey in the text.

But overall, not bad for your first game. :-)

thanks for playing hope you enjoyed, i know there's some bugs in this game like the text color as you noticed, but please tell me if you didn't feel any discomfort in playing this game like music, movement, controls and did you complete it, after all its a short game. if you face any problem you could always check controls and about section.

Developer

Did not made the music but the SFX was self made.
