Right off the bat, that was pretty fun; once I figured out what I was doing, that is. The art is very wholesome and nice. My only few problems would be that it was a bit difficult remembering all the recipes and having to scroll out of the game to read them. An in game recipe book would be a good add on to the game if you ever plan on expanding it. Also labelled pictures of each food; it was a little confusing as to what some of the foods were meant to be (unless that's just a 'me issue' for not remembering what a pork banh mi looks like).
Super fun and fast paced though! I eventually got a score of 600 after my 5th time playing lol
Thanks so much Budder! Great suggestions, we had to make the game in about a week since most were busy the first week, but given more time, we would've added it in game. Will definitely include an in-game recipe book in the next update!
Really fun fast paced cooking game! loved the art! had a hard time figuring out which dish the client wanted at first but got the hang of it after a while. Really enjoyable, I liked it!
Nice, very fun! I was able to get 5 stars with 560 points on my second try after learning the recipes a little bit better. It would've been nice to have a second oven so I could get multiple things going at the same time, but really fun and definitely captures the same kind of fun hectic feel as Overcooked. Really great job putting this together!
Thank you AP!! ^_^ Yes, can't wait to add in future updates too, like the oven could set on fire after 3 overcooked dishes, and KitKat having to put it out with the fire extinguisher is one of them haha
Aww thank you Anxietree!! Haha right? Some of it you'd only get in a higher end restaurant but the dishes like banh mi and tacos are things I do cook at home :) I love making vietnamese/japanese/korean food too. If we had more time, I'd add in more of those dishes!
OH MY GOSH THEY PUT KIT KAT TO WORK... this was incredibly fun and chaotic, my friend and I were playing it and couldn't stop laughing and commenting on how cute everything was. Some of the timing felt a bit off (the oven felt like it took too long and the customers felt a little unforgiving with how long they were willing to wait), and I wish I could queue up dishes to be cooked, but considering the time we had this was a lovely experience! I especially loved the art style and how cute everything was contrasting with how frantic I felt while playing XD
Aww thanks so much for playing Molli!! Yeah the oven wait can seem a little long, maybe we can slow down the queueing in another update, at least for a beginner round. Maybe a round for peak dinner time would queue faster too. If we had more time, definitely would have Chris add queueing for prepping dishes or a way to place the plates down somewhere.
Hey guys, this was my very first game jam! We wanted to simulate the same stress as working in the service industry and the character KitKat is based off my real shiba! Thanks for the opportunity, hope you enjoy the game. :)

omg too cuuute! giving me overcooked vibes lol
Thank you Sugar!! It was definitely inspired by Overcooked, especially the queueing chaos and backlog haha
Oh hey Kimu made an entry, would explain the cute art style! Charming diners style game, quite a clean game for the jam!
