This really reminds me of Hollow Knight; which is a good thing! You folks really nailed down the level design of a metroidvania game. I love the pixel, the music is awesome and I'm intrigued where the story will go. If y'all ever decide to continue on with this game, I'd for sure come back for a second playthrough!
Really gorgeous art, really great music, controls very well. Crashed when I died, and the attack range feels a tad bit small. With some polish, this could be an excellent game!
I’ve liked it as far as I’ve been able to play (I died and it crashed) and I find it fun to play. Visually I loved it and I think it has potential if you fix the crash problem (even if you expand it it could be very cool)
This is very impressive for the amount of time we had for the jam! I will say, the controls confused me a lot at first as a rightie who uses WASD all the time, so it took me a while to get the hang of it. The amount of polish you put into the game feel is also quite impressive. I really liked the freeze frames when taking damage, the VFX, and animations. It feels very polished and I would love to see your team develop this more! I also encountered a bug after dying to some spikes:
Thank you, Honestly I really wanted to get more done, I tried to make more control layouts scene I didn't have the time to add in control mapping. I also had fun making the VFX, we do plan on finishing the game, and sorry about the save bug, never happened when I was play testing.
What I could play of this game was really awesome. The controls felt good and the story and cutscene(s?) contributed a lot to the feeling of progress. The music is also amazing and the animations of the main characters were great. It's such a pity that the game crashes when you die. If you save, there's also a bug where you cannot continue from the save point. Good job, I would have loved to play more!

Very nice game! Cool movement mechanics tho the boars are making me quite angry

I really love the music and feel of this so far! The art is so lovely and the mechanics feel very fluid and natural.

Thank you for the feed back, sadly the save bug never came up during play testing. I wish I could have fixed it before the jam ended.
The pixel art and sound for this is so awesome!! I had a bunch of fun giving it a try!!
