Love the mix of 2D and 3D. The mechanic where the more you shoot the smaller you (and your bullets) get was clever as well. Only problem I found was that some of the bouncing enemies were slightly hard to hit sometimes. But it was a good challenge!
Thank you! With the smaller Blob you also apply less damage.
A fun and well made platform game. Love the music and visual style. I believe I got a bug where two levels loaded at the same time. overall a great jam game.
Hey thanks for the compliments. Yes we found and fixed the bug, but for the next two weeks we're not allowed to update. After that though ;)
Cool how you made it look 3D, you sure had me fooled. Though, the music is a bit repetitive. I also couldn't make the jump pictured below. I think it's pretty early in the level.
The idea here is to do a wall jump so you move to the wall on the right and keep jumping while pressing the right arrow key
Thanks, yeah we could have explained that better. With double right or double left you can do a sprint, and then it is possible ;)
Nice game - like the way you made a 2d game feel 3d :)
Thanks :)
Liked how you mixed 2d with 3d . Looks really cool! The music is so good I can see myself listening to it while doing my homework. Overall a nice game.
Thank you - good to hear!
This gamejam was a good moment to experiment with the 2d/3d layering. We are happy with the result and think we could take it further on a next project.
I like being able to see all of the flat levels beyond yourself in the distance. That's really cool! The music is charming. The wall jumping mechanic is well tuned. Great entry!
Hi Binary Bedlam, thanks for the compliments,
We really put some work into that :)
A and D to move with CTRL to shoot is a really awkward control scheme. The bright green with the various colours of text was also hard to look at but inside the game looked much nicer.
Maybe I just didn't get far enough in but I didn't really pick up on the theme here.
Hi Walrusware, Thanks for the feedback. It is also possible to use the arrow keys.
Ahh ok I tried that and it didn't work, and I also had some 'sticking' witj WASD at times.
