Very simple game but still have good details! Easy to understand. Fits to the theme. Rated!

Don't forget to check my game and rating it, please.

Interesting, my suggestions would be: make those upcoming tiles (bottom left & right) larger, so we could actually read the detailed text. Some more sounds would be great too. You seemed to focus a lot on functionality, which has good results! Next time focus on developing an art style too + music! :)

Great concept, I like it :)

Some suggestions:

- the costs of the fields was too small, so it was hard to read them

- after a point I was able to gain nearly infinity months, because there were a lot of tiles that gave me extra months.

Developer

Thank you for your suggestions, they will be noted

The idea is good, I have appreciated it. With a revised balancing and a few fixes it could get really interesting.

A few suggestions:

- With the interface, I had difficulties reading the description of the two tiles to pick, on my screen they appear far too small. Maybe the sprites are not scaled with the screen resolution, or you have a larger screen.

- Sometimes clicking on an empty exagon did not place the tile, I think it happened when I was close to the border. Did you use a circle collider? Replacing it with a polygon collider would probably fix the problem.

- It's hard to notice the difference between false and real environment score because when you finish the false value simply disappears. You could add it to the results.

- The tiles that will give you extra months appear too often, after setting up a good economy I could have continued playing forever. You could slightly reduce the probability of obtaining extra months tiles every turn or something like that, so that the player would have to plan more carefully his/her moves.

Hope you have the time to check my entry, I appreciate getting feedback.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. About the collided, I used a polygon one, but there's a small chance that you moved your mouse while clicking and then it got detected as dragging the camera.

The tiles were small because I forgot to set the canvas to screen size and it was fixed.

On the Ecology, I understand that it's hard to note the difference so I'll take care of it.

And I am fully aware that the game is not balanced, will see if I get back to it what I can do

I like the concept! However if I tried using my mouse cursor to move around the board, I just lost track of my tiles so I had to restart the game.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. I don't quite understand how you managed to lose the tiles, but I'm sorry for that

Very neat idea! (Rated)

Developer

Thank you for your review, it's appreciated

very nice game at first I lost a lot but once I knew what to do the months, money and ecology were very easy to get, So I think you have to explain the concept more and make it a little harder , but I really enjoyed it

I would appreciate it if you could try my game and give it a review https://itch.io/jam/cgj/rate/477007

Developer

Thank you for your review. I'll check your game as well

Was a bit hard to get a hang for the rules at first, but once I caught onto it, it turned out to be a neat game with cool ideas! The only thing missing for me is more visual and audio effects, to give it some "p'zaz" you know? Great stuff eitherway!

Developer

Thank you for your review. Your suggestions will be taken into considerations if I ever decide to continue it, which I might

The game is very fun and I enjoyed it, the graphics are alright and the music in the menu is nice. I don't find this much connection with the theme, but i liked it!

Developer

The lie of the game is at the end, where you find out that the Ecology you have is not exactly the one you thought the entire game

Submitted

Oh okay I thing I accidentaly skip it XD, thanks for explaining!

Developer

No problem

Submitted

Wow, a really good concept, and good approach to it, maybe change the texts to sprites in the future.

I <3 climate and supermarkets !!!!

Developer

I mean, doesn't everyone love those 2 things?

Submitted

I liked the concept, but it feels very basic. Like the tiles should have pictures instead of just text to make it more interactive. Still quite fun though

Developer(+1)

I totally agree that in the design department, things could've gone way different and better. But, unfortunately, due to sickness, I had very limited time to work on this. To be more precise, less  than 2 days. But glad you had fun

Submitted

Fair enough, it was very good to say it was made in 2 days. Hope everything is well now :)

Submitted

The concept was good but the game got quite boring after a while and the music did not loop

Developer

You sure that the music doesn't loop? Because it did to me.... Strange

Submitted

I saved earth, but got poor

Developer

Off, maybe next time

Submitted

Well, aside from the text being too small and crowded, I can understand a bit of the game. Though I suck at management games...

Developer(+1)

Noted, text bigger next time, thank you for your feedback
