a) One rule states you cant use any old code, everything has to be coded then and there, does that mean you cannot copy code from sites such as stack overflow as well?

b) and another rule says no asset store items, will we have to make everything on the fly using a model software?

c) does the audio need to be made ourselves or can we use any free audio clip out there?

Just looking to clarify some stuff, cant wait for the jam :)

a) If you run into any problems, you are of course free to use google and stackoverflow to find solutions. We do ask you to try to not copy entire scripts or mechanics from the internet. Small code snippets are fine.

b) Yes, you will have to create all of your art assets using software. This means creating your 3D models with your preferred modelling software.

c) Audio has to be made by you. Exception to this is sound effect generators where you have some control over the input, like SFXR or BFXR. If you want to use any other software that generates audio for you, please ask about that specific software.

One rule stated that you could not use code or assets you had created before the jam. Another rule stated that all frameworks and engines are allowed. If I am currently programming an engine/framework, can I use it in the jam?

You can use game engines / framework made by you if they are available for everyone to use as well before the jam starts.
