I made a mistake and set the wrong date for the end of voting date on itch.
As it was said in the description of the itch page, as well as in our Discord server the voting period lasts 2 weeks, which is on the 13th of March and not on the 10th.
Check the itch page now, as it now has the new updated date in your local time.
You all have to join the jam, and when submitting the game, only one person has to do it, and they have to mark other team members as contributors/admins on the game page.
You don't have to join the Discord, however there is an age limit according to itch.io Terms of Service which you can find here: https://itch.io/docs/legal/terms
Summary If you download projects, you’re a User. If you upload projects, you’re a Publisher. Users must be 13 or older. Publishers must be at least 18 or have the legal right to enter into this agreement.
You could try making a game in Roblox Studio, but I'm not sure many people will be able to play it since you need a Roblox Account and the Roblox game installed. And yes, you can't upload Roblox Studio games on itch.io, so I'm not sure how that would work.
loved it. it's basically the stanley parable with bloom, and also punimals. it was amazing to see kate in a dino costume IN HUGE (almost) 3D, absolutely glorious.
Thank you @leafo for reaching out and helping everyone! We had a few more of people saying they deleted their builds without knowing that uploads are locked. Even though there is a huge banner saying that, next time we will make it more clear so less of this happens in the future.
Edit: I also pinned this thread and made the name a bit more friendly.
What I ACTUALLY wanted to say was that when you post the project once the game is done, on the project page there will be a field to add all of your team members, and you should do that so that the team members are counted as such and can rate other jam games.
The game isn't particularly fun because it's a very simple game with not a lot going on. And it's very hard to beat those white rectangles.
And the game uses the theme like most games I saw so far, the game is saying some obvious lies to you, and the lies don't really affect the game that much.
The audio becomes quite repetitive very fast, needs more stuff added to it.
Graphics are too small, there's too many things going on at the same time it's hard to see. Maybe a zoomed in camera with player following would work better.
