I learned a lot from this game jam! I wanted to know about other's experiences.

I ended up not completing my game, but still submitting what I had. Everything seemed to be going smoothly when I ran into a bug that I coudln't fix. After the submission deadline was over, I took some time to sleep and finish what I started.  I am happy to say that even though the game I submitted wasn't complete, I woke up this morning and finally completed my game!  Squashed that stupid bug. hahaha

It was a fun time. Ran into some issues later on that required some improvision. I also made sure to continually ask myself "what is the theme?" (which we already know), and how does this (a specific feature) go with it? Also, is the game flowing in a direction consistent with the theme?

Sometimes i found myself in feature creep that didn't specifically go with the theme, so i would have to correct myself and try to make it consistent.

LOL. I had a last minute menu glitch about 2hrs before cutoff. So i had to improvise that, lol. I knew i would need time for submission and building/compiling, so i didn't wait until last minute.

Overall i'm glad i entered. I'm thinking how i want to proceed with my game.

Here is my game:

Yeah, I found the theme to be interesting and a bit tricky.

I am glad you got it working! That's great! I have made games using Python before. But this time I forced myself to try something new and used Unity. It was all about improvisation. lol

Will definitely take a look at your game once I get home from work (using a Mac).

Since this is my first time I have ever been in a game jam, I am also hoping I submitted it correctly. I wanted tp submit it so it could be played in the browser. Had problems there, too.

Great learning experience, though. I am glad we both joined in this experience.

If anyone is interested in taking a look at my game:
