I've got a new questions about this jam

  • Are we allowed to submit more than one game?
  • Should the games be aimed to run in the browser, on mobile phones, on computers, etc.?

Thanks!

There is no limit on the number of games you submit or which platform you should aim for.

Web browser and computer would be easier for us to judge but we find devices if we need to.

Hi again,

Does the jam finish on the midnight between July 30 and 31 or the midnight between July 31 and Aug 1?

Also do the games need to be fully completed or can they be still in progress but playable

Thanks

The deadline is on the jam page, keep an eye on the time left timer to be sure when the deadline is in your time zone.

In progress is fine.

Sorry, another question:

How long should the game be, e.g around 5 minutes, 10-20mins, 1hr-2hr or 3hr +?

Thanks

Completely up to you

If we need to find out more information about predictions for the future, do we need to just use your data sheet or can we use others from the internet? Also, do you recommend a specific place to find out more information?

Thanks

I've asked Dave who is our climate expert, he will get back to you soon!

You can absolutely use information from the internet. The best place to start for this sort of information is the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change fifth assessment report (https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar5/). Each section of the report contains a summary for policy makers that is a shortened and easy to read version of the full report. If you need more info on certain sections you can then refer to the technical summary or specific chapters of the full report. If there is a particular area that you are interested in let me know and I can send you some links to other information. You can get information from the wider web but check the source of the information to make sure it is scientifically credible. Hope this helps.
