Uploaded before deadline, but fix was required which has been uploaded, is this OK?

I managed to upload my game before the deadline and everything seemed to work fine locally.  When I then tested it through the browser, enemies were not spawning as expected.  This appears to be because of the loading time of the levels,  adding a brief pause between levels, and using _on_enter_tree instead of _ready seems to fix this.

I hope this is an acceptable reason for a late upload, the original zip file submitted this morning is still listed on the site, but not playable.  If not, thank you anyway.

(No other creatures were harmed, or poisoned to create this update!)

That is all right, no worries! Thanks for taking part in a jam!

Thank you, and thanks for hosting the jam.

I hope there's another one in future, though I might try to be a little less ambitious in scope ... Small and finished is probably a better result that big and buggy, but still a good learning experience.

So, I can fix glitches after the deadline, because I submitted my game before the deadline. My game had emojis turning into weird symbols upgrades randomly getting deleted, and not being able to move during the tutorial.

If your changes fix breaking bugs in the game, go ahead and fix them. Try to avoid adding new features or altering the gameplay

Is it a problem if I made the game more polished?

It was unplayable and I modified the way the player interacts (it used to be automatic now you can use keys), added a tutorial so people could understand the game and changed some sprites to make signs understandable, other than making it more balanced and fair to play.
