I love vibes and this puzzle game

Alright, so this was a really cool game but it took me ages to actually get into the gameplay. I was really stuck in the beginning trying to figure out what to do. I read the 'match' part of the explanation (not the match 3...) so I started making block combo's. Recipe was yellow, green, yellow, so I would stack those blocks on top of each other and expected to make that drink. It was only when I found out each drink actually had three SEGMENTS that I separately had to match to fill up that the game started to make sense. But still I had problems making matches, because I didn't realize that blocks would actually fall vertically after making other blocks disappear. So all of that took a good 10 minutes of wondering why I didn't get the game... but once I did get into the game I was hooked! I think I played it for like 20 minutes straight, it was really good! That means you got a great mechanic here :) Maybe with a little bit of a better tutorial (like an interactive tutorial) it would be faster and easier to pic up. Other than that it can be a little frustrating if you're lining up 3 greens (for example), but because of your last swap you now ALSO made a match of 3 yellow's, and now yellow pours into the cup. Maybe a feature where you get to choose which combo you want to pick in this scenario would be really nice, because that was a little confusing at times. But I think you got a great system here. I'm impressed! Thanks for participating and congratz on making a game!

Definitely some mechanical quirks that would need worked out if I continue this. Very helpful feedback, thank you!

Interesting take on classic "swap blocks" type of games. I like the recipes idea, but sometimes I had to ditch few cups and wait for new blocks, because e.g. all recipes started with orange color blocks (pumpkin taste?). I started my game doing something that made my score being negative and I'm not sure how I did it. I wonder, for what part of game did you use Dall-E 2? Thank you and good job!

Thanks for the feedback! I used Dall-e to generate the café background, some elements in the foreground, and the border on the instruction card.

I love the idea, the game is good but really challenging (and sometimes frustrating I am bad at this kind of games xD), but its a nice game good job !

The game is challenging in a cozy way. I really liked the song, even if the volume seemed a bit too low on my machine.

I took some time to get the hang of it at first, felt a bit overwhelmed after the tutorial screen. Once it clicked it was a nice match 3 experience. I never got past x2 combo, some tough luck on the ingredients. But I really enjoyed the "strategic details" like avoiding piles reaching the top to get more ingredients and using one cup to fill with wrong ingredients before discarding! One minor complaint I got is that to skip the instructions and start playing I press Space, and then the game already starts swapping in the initial position. Starting with Ctrl solved that.

I liked the visuals, it felt very pretty and cohese. I wish some of the elements in the drinks had a bit more of contrast, mint and ginger were hard to differentiate (but that's probably just my color blindness!).

Out of curiosity: are the cups randomly colored? I kept on thinking if there was something special about each color but couldn't figure it.

Overall a solid game! Congratulations!

Thanks so much for writing out your thoughts! The cups are randomly colored yeah, I wanted to give it a sort of eclectic vibe but that's good feedback that you expected them to mean something. The color contrast thing is something I'll work on if I ever pick this up again, cause ya its not at all colorblind friendly lol

Really chill match 3 game, could definitely see this being potentially ported to mobile devices. Good job!
