Hey, I played your game on the stream - twitch gordienkogames

Please give my game a try if you have some time!

The art is really good. Especially I like the trees movement. The puzzle in my opinion lacks proper feedback. The first time I completed the game I wasn't sure how I did it. Only on the second try I've found the inventory key and looked at what I've found on the second stage in the grass and in the well. I think there  sound be some text telling what the player has found. Overall, it's a good starting point to create an interesting adventure, but for now I could only appreciate the art and the framework you've created. The story is short and I don't see how the falling cart helped me get out of the crater. Looks interesting and promising. Keep at the good work.

Definitely great potential if you guys pursue this game further! The art is super cute! Only thing I can say is that it wasn't clear when I picked the bucket up from the well since the "Interact" label for it didn't disappear unlike the first one. That made me think I wasn't picking anything up despite pressing "E" multiple times until I checked my inventory. Would be cool if there was audio feedback.

Very cool little demo of a potential bigger game! I really, really like the artwork of the world. The animated pixelart looks fantastic. I can totally see this becoming a larger game and I'd like to follow the progress (where can I best follow you guys?) There isn't a lot of gameplay yet, but I liked the animation where the cart fell down. I used a PS4 controller, and for me the interaction button wasn't A (the lower button), but the button on the left (X on an xbox controller). One more thing: when the character walks diagonally it kind of looks like she's wearing a read facemask, hehe. But yeah, really fun little demo guys! Thanks so much for participating and good job on making a game ^^

Hey hey, Ilse here, I was the artist for the game. Firstly, thank you so much for hosting this jam, we both had a blast taking part! :D Thank you for the feedback, we'll definitely take it into consideration and make the relevant fixes moving forward ^^ . We currently don't have any platforms where you can follow this game's progress, but we'll update the info on this page once we do. Thanks again, and looking forward to more game jams hosted by you in the future!! - The Hollow Pines Team

You should make some tutorial or just write control keys because i opened it on PC and i had to click all keys to find out how to start game and do any interactions.

I like how game look like but i dont get what it is about

Hey hey, thank you so much for taking the time to play through the game, and for leaving feedback! That's definitely a valid point - unfortunately we ran out of time to implement that in the game, but now that you mention it we should probably write the control keys in the description.. and maybe just update the description to make it more clear what the game is supposed to be about. The scope we had for it was a bit ambitious for a game jam, but the premise is that the player gets stuck in a forest and needs to gather materials across the different tiles so that they can find their way back out :D - The Hollow Pines Team
