Amazing job, really! Can't believe you all made a game of this level of quality in only one weekend! I really loved the concept. As simple as it is, it really works well, especially with the amazing setting the game takes place in, well done! Everything breathes warmth, coziness and fall! There were a few things that didn't quite work as I expected, and I did encounter some bugs:
- The tutorial book was covered by the character cards

- Sometimes I couldn't click on UI, it would instead select a shop item behind it (I couldn't click on the coin when giving out orders, for example).

- Sometimes after clicking the cauldron the order would just disappear completely.

- This might have been coincidence but all the orders of my first 4 guests were exactly the same.

Anyways, those are some minor things that should be easy enough to fix. Really solid concept! I hope you all keep working on this some more, it's the perfect game to play during fall! Thanks for participating in the gamejam!!

Love the art and the music. I didn't read the recipe book at first, but it was fun experimenting to figure out how to make each item. I think I may have run into a bug with a couple of the recipes. Sometimes even though I put the correct ingredients in, it wouldn't make the item, maybe I put them in the wrong order? Overall, a great game!

Awesome work!

The visuals are stunning and well polished, loved the animations on the bell and cauldron!
It took me a few minutes to figure out the ingredients mixing, but the fact that you left the minimum ingredients to begin with, then increased progressively as the player gets it, is smart.
Unfortunately after day 12 no one was coming (A bug I guess, or were my coffees that bad ? ๐Ÿ˜…)

haha oh nooo - I dont think your coffee was that bad - could have been a bug. However if you befriend animals they stop showing up in the current version - so if you befriended everyone no one will show up eventually ^^

Its a bit odd and I hope we can fix that in the future.

Thanks for playing and the nice feedback!

Top marks on the coziness. This is a cute game and not bad looking, too. It's particularly impressive for a 3D game made for a jam. I enjoyed figuring out the different recipes and putting them together.

Figuring those recipes out was a struggler, though. There are only so many in the book, and your creations don't have a 360 rotation like the orders do. Sometimes it's hard to get a sense of how well your creation matches up, or what ingredient leads to which kind of result. But once I did, I had fun saying "oh, well, there are berries and whip cream in the picture, so that goes in". There was at least one recipe I found that didn't seem to work right, though. I seem to recall a muffin with nuts or something that didn't make anything if I put the muffin in first?

Little disappointed by the lack of a proper ending, and there's doesn't seem to be much impact to choosing money. But I understand the team ran out of time. It happens. I had the same problem the last jam I was in.

Overall, a solid jam entry that manages to be wholesome and engaging. With a bit more polish and time to implement the features you had to cut, this could be special.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

I wrote a passage on the game's page about the lack of the ending and our initial plan - if you are interested in what have could been :D

For us this was the first jam, and maybe first game ever where we had more art assets than we could implement - so technically there are all the assets and designs for the ending and the money but yeah - ran out of time.

I also agree that the recipes part needs a bit more polish eventually.
