Ooh, very chilly! Makes me want to bundle up with my own dog

Hi everyone! Thank you for the constructive comments! Just to let you know, we missed a bug where the level 6 (our most polished map) is only available on the level select menu (and not from the ‘next game’ button). Sorry team, it’s my bad ^^’

Fun game.  Diffuculty curve was a little uneven.  I died alot in the middle, but had no problem with the last few puzzles.  And if you are looking for bug fixes, sometimes while walking, my character would just stop.  Jiggling the mouse would get him going again, and it didn't stop my fun or success, but just thought I would let you know.

Thank you for the comment!

The mouse bug was very difficult to fix because it is linked to how the browser sends mouse events, we will hopefully fix it for our next jam! Thank you for lettings us know that this is more annoying than expected.

We didn’t have an experienced Game designer in our game (this is our teams second game jam) and I think that it is noticeable in how the levels were created. As a team of developers, we mainly focused on adding features instead of implementing them well. A lesson well learned ^^’

Cute idea to save the dog and really nice images at the start.

The blizzard caused big FPS drops on my machine, maybe too many particles ? ;)

Hi! Thank you for the comment!

Phaser (our Javascript game engine) gave us big trouble to get the results that we wanted while maintaining a playable experience. The lag was occurring randomly during game dev, making it hard to identify the source and fix it .

Nice game and really pretty artwork for the into. I think the blizzard is a bit OP tho bc I basically died every time it hit and I could never get to cover in time (maybe a warning that its going to hit and the direction would be good)

Developer

Thank you! That was actually our plan to add something like birds flying to give hints on when the blizzard would pop but didn’t have time.

The blizzard is also too strong in my opinion, I feel that it’s going against the Cozy part of the game jam, but my teammates wanted a more challenging game-play ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Well done! Nice intro and interesting puzzles.

Sometimes it was a bit difficult to stay behind a stone/tree because you instantly move towards your mouse. I would suggest to add a minimum dinstance the mouse has to be afar so that the player moves.

Thank you! Creating the game was a blast There’s one actually, definitely too small though. We were very tight on the deadline.
