Super solid platformer mechanics, controls feel very tight (would be even better on controller I bet). Took a long ass time for me to beat. As others have said, it depends on the type of game you're trying to make but you can make it more accessible by in more forgiving platformer mechanics (i.e. coyote time, a default dash) without sacrificing the tightness of the controls. Steak walk cycle is amazing.

very fun and difficult - reminds me a little of I wanna be the guy

This game has me feeling like I'm playing a Dark Souls of platformers lol. Admittedly the controls feel a bit janky,  and I personally believe it would be better fit for something like a controller.  Additionally, there are instances (jumping on forks and knives) that feel a bit wrong, so to say. (I feel like I had to take a risk, or I was just manipulating the game). I think the game would benefit from a longer 'tutorial', or at least a flatter difficulty curve.

I still enjoyed the challenge, it took me ~13 minutes on my first run :). The game has a lot of potential to be a pretty solid title if you develop it more!

This game is super impressive! Love the ultimate challenge, even though  we couldn't pass the first level ;)

 Well done!

The core mechanics work well, but the difficulty curve is VERY steep. Several sections of the game feel like they expect you to have an extra air dash. Perhaps providing the character with one free dash on every jump (a la Celeste) would be beneficial?

Still, I quite enjoyed the challenge. Great work!

First play took 24 minutes because it's hard and the "tutorial" is a bit lacking, but the mechanics are solid so I decided to speedrun it.
