Took a long time to load, but absolute W art and animations and nice controls. A bit frustrating to get through, although if one simply ignores all the enemies it's easier

This has some potential. The art is great, but the gameplay is just too frustrating right now. It desperately needs coyote time, maybe a midpoint checkpoint (like the flag in Super Mario Bros) and a bit more consistency with some of the mechanics. For example, you cant sprint again until you stop pressing the A/D key (I think some sort of timer would do). I found the easiest way to beat it was to ignore the enemies, so maybe have some part where you force the player to kill the enemies to progress? Never did find a use for the W+Click mechanic, but the animation was cool. Also, I didn't really see any connection to the theme, if you intended it.

Really cool atmosphere and solid mechanics. Could really use jump buffering and coyote time though, especially with so many instant-death pits.
