I like the idea of the encounters being based around solving physical or mental obstacles! I had some trouble understanding what to do or what things meant.

I liked "fighting" the obstacles very much! Would be great to see them be actually defeated - meaning, gates open.

That was original. The "fighting" mechanic was interesting once we got the hang of it. We thought we'd managed to force the gate but we just seemed to win the round and then it didn't open. The upcoming Tetris style enemies with different abilities meant you had to be strategic about which to attack first which was nice. The game mechanics have potential. It would be interesting to see this developed some more. Well done for finishing your game.

The presentation can use some work but the fighting mechanic was quite original. I didn't manage to use the lever / open the gate even though I "beat" both encounters a few times :(

I like the style of this.

Yeah, it needs more polish, but the "fighting" mechanism was cool. I didnt manage to force the gate open, though. But I did move some furniture.

I like the idea of overcoming obstacles via a fight, and even more that you seem to be able to bruteforce through things via harder fights, judging by the waterwheel, also bonus point for party creation (and from a bunch of cool characters), but after I "force [] open" the door nothing happens (all I can do is try again)? Does that mean I should be doing something else first or is it a bug (I think I have the same problem with the lever directly right to the entrance)? Only interacting with the torch and the wheel seem to do something (but what it does I don't know).

Developer

Ah, looks like I set the flag for opening the gate wrong. The lever is meant to open the gate, but you should also be able to open it with the lever. There was an encounter set up for Cathy to also be able to open it, but we didn't set the flag in the build.

The torch increases your minor score and casts a light, the waterwheel increases your major score. They don't interact more with the dungeon in this build, but we have plans!

It makes sense, thanks, very glad to hear the game will get further development, I'm a big fan of the concept, I totally got sold at the different combats allowing to reach a same goal.
