Game was neat, however it needs a lot of polish :)

Developer

Thanks! Having only 2-3 hours of actual time making the project, its bound to have bugs haha

Yeah, making a game about complete darkness is a gamble. Couldn't really play it, even with brightness up :( Love the visuals that are burried there though

Developer

Thanks for the comment! but yea, it can definitely be improved

I could barely see anything on the screen, so I couldn't play. Also, the description mentions the theme was 'spark,' but the current jam theme is 'ignite.'

Developer

Thanks for the comment! Everything should be brighter than what you are showing on your image, but it is meant to be dark for a spooky atmosphere! maybe try turning your brightness up! And thats how i got the theme into the game, you ignite a spark which allows for the player to use their powers!

Cool game, when it was lit up it was visually interesting and made me want to play more! Unfortunately it wasn't lit up very much, so I could barely see what was going on a lot of the time haha.

Thanks for the comment! I am so glad you enjoyed it, i only has like 2-3 hours out of the 36 to make the game, so it could definitely use some polish haha

I like the idea of lighting up the surroundings while dashing!

Good job creating a game in only 36 hours!

I like the movement and graphics.

There's a place for improvements:
- The screen is so dark I can barely see anything
- The controlls are counterintuitive - as Dony mentioned it would be better to have standard WSAD system
- It needs a bit of polishing (make everything visible on the screen, sometimes float numbers were display waaay to much after the dot)

Good job, keep it up!

Developer

Thank you so much! With only having 2-3 hours to make it, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement. I even forgot about the audio haha

Nice Entry!

It was really hard to go right with 's' instead of 'd' :D

But, besides that, the platformer movement feels nice and snappy!

Good Job!

Thanks! yea, i definitely see how using s instead of d could be hard. at least I know for my next  jam :D
