Well done! Incredible work for a gamejam. The graphics are magnificent, the texts are very well written, I also found the gameplay very accessible and it was very interesting to see all the dialogue options (even if you didn't have the character traits to unlock them!).
The soundscape is discreet, but just right.
If I had any advice to give, it would perhaps be to indicate to players which passages have already been consulted (by crossing them out or graying them out, for example).
I wasn't able to complete my discovery during my stream, but I'll be playing at the end of the demo, that's for sure! (sorry for my poor accent, though... im French)
Hey there, looks like you’ve put a lot of work into the demo. Thought you might like to know that a lot of the earlier game images within the main text box seem to be broken and one is replaced by the img code. (If that’s not due to the demo state maybe something went wrong with the upload?)
Thanks for the heads-up! This is an odd bug I've been troubleshooting where images load outside of itch, but some are broken after uploading. In the meantime, downloading the build to play is the current workaround.
Sorry to hear it’s causing you so much trouble! Good to know the downloaded game works. The game still works ok online though as well, it was just the broken images.
All broken images should be fixed now! 😄
